Luis Ramos Gutiérrez
Born in Granada, he has a degree in Law from the University of Granada, belongs to several bodies/scales of Spain’s Public Administration. He is the former Secretary of the Social Council of the University of Alicante. For almost twenty years, he has been General Manager at the universities of Granada, La Laguna and Alicante and has a broad and deep knowledge of the Spanish higher education system. He has been a member of numerous Spanish and international organizations, evaluator-auditor of the Spanish National Quality Agency (Agencia Nacional de Calidad - ANECA). He has participated in the Multiannual Financing Plan for Universities and in the preparation of the “WHITE PAPER” of the Valencian university system. He has directed numerous TEMPUS projects with institutions in different Eastern European countries on business-university relations and the modernization of university management. He has specialized in direction and management of university public bodies, preparation of budgets and financing plans, evaluation of centers and services, direction and management of human resources, organizational restructuring and redesign of processes, strategic planning and quality management.
