Abstract

The increasing integration of AI into domains such as healthcare and psychotherapy has created many beneficial opportunities for society. The first half of the presentation offers an overview of current initiatives on how AI is used in the intervention of addictive disorders. However, besides AI’s vast potential, there is a growing prevalence of AI anxiety, for which a valid and reliable measurement tool becomes vital. The second half of the presentation will provide insights into the development and validation process of a brief psychometric instrument for AI anxiety.
