Jonasz Szpoton

He is a PhD student at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He holds a Master’s degree in Law and a postgraduate diploma in Data Engineering. His research lies at the intersection of legal ethics and data science, with a focus on the use of machine learning and Big Data to improve fairness and accuracy in legal decision-making. His current PhD research examines algorithmic risk assessment in criminal law and its implications for judicial practice. He is the author of peer-reviewed articles and has presented at academic conferences on data and human rights
