Nuria Oliver: "Algorithms define beauty"

The director of ELLIS Alicante, elect member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Engineering and a world referent in Artificial Intelligence talks about gender discrimination in algorithms.
With a PhD from MIT and an elect member of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Nuria Oliver is a world referent in Artificial Intelligence. She is committed to foster the participation of women in the tech sector. She is also Scientific Director and cofounder of ELLIS Alicante (https://ellisalicante.org) where they study, among other topics, how algorithmic gender biases impact women and minorities and limit our art and culture, the creative freedom of artists by, for example, censoring art depicting female nudity.
