Kaylin Bolt

As a recipient of the Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Award, Kaylin Bolt is a visiting scientist from Seattle, Washington (USA) who is based at the ELLIS unit in Alicante, Spain, along with site visits to the ISI Foundation in Turin, Italy. She will be conducting research on innovative uses of data, interdisciplinary partnerships and participatory surveillance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research will examine case studies of how data informed public health policy decisions, with a focus on the implications for public privacy and equitable health outcomes.  Prior to becoming a Fulbright Scholar, Kaylin was a Social Research Scientist at Public Health Seattle King County (Assessment Policy Development & Evaluation Unit). She holds dual Masters degrees in Public Health and in Social Work from the University of Washington-St. Louis (2012).
