Maria Hartikainen

Maria Hartikainen is a doctoral researcher from Tampere University’s (TAU - CS) Human-Technology Research Group (IHTE). Her research focuses on human-centred AI and human-AI interaction. She is conducting a two-month research visit at Ellis Alicante from October 1st to November 30th, aiming to explore AI biases and their impact on human-AI system interactions. These insights will help inform HCAI practices to support safe, effective, and user-friendly interactions between humans and AI systems.
