Kim is a PhD student at ELLIS Alicante with a background in Psychology and Quantitative Data Science Methods (Psychometrics, Econometrics and Machine Learning). Specializing in the intersection of psychology and machine learning, her research focuses on human-centered chatbot interactions. To develop more trustworthy human-AI relationships, she is examining how large language models can be personalized to the user’s psychological profile. Her work includes investigating the consequences of AI personalization and its application in mental health contexts. Kim is supervised by Nuria Oliver (ELLIS Alicante), Cristina Cachero (University of Alicante) and Anna Korhonen (University of Cambridge).
