Piera Riccio

Estudiante de Doctorado

Piera Riccio es estudiante de doctorado de ELLIS. Estudió un Grado en Ingeniería de Cine y Medios de Comunicación (2018, Politecnico di Torino), un máster en TIC para sociedades inteligentes (2021, Politecnico di Torino) y un máster en Ciencia e Ingeniería de Datos (2021, Télécom París - EURECOM). En 2020, fue afiliada a Metalab (at) Harvard. En 2021, fue asistente de investigación en la Oslo Metropolitan University. En su investigación, está interesada en explorar las posibilidades culturales, sociales y artísticas de la IA. En su doctorado, se centra en el efecto que los medios sociales tienen en la vida de las mujeres y en la forma en que éstas son percibidas en el ecosistema cultural de los medios sociales. Sus supervisores son Nuria Oliver (ELLIS Alicante), Thomas Hofmann (ETH Zurich) y Francisco Escolano (Universidad de Alicante).
