The symposium is targeted towards ELLIS PhD students and students of ELLIS Fellows/Scholars/Members.A smaller number of slots will additionally be reserved for local participants of the University of Alicante as well as AIDA students.

The first round of applications closed on the 20th of May. The second round of applications close on the 10th of August.
The results of the forst round will be announced on the 31st of May.

Yes. Participants admitted in the first round need to pay 125€ (+ 13.84€ Eventbrite processing fee. Participants admitted in the second round need to pay 150€ (+ 16.56€ Eventbrite processing fee).
Most ELLIS labs should be able to cover this cost. However, your supervisor will need to confirm this.

The deadline for reimbursements was July 10th on Eventbrite.
The poster and tooling session details are not finalised until August.

There is a copy shop across the street from the venue of the symposium. You could also get it done in any of the multiple print shops in Alicante.
The posters should be A1/A0 (portrait).
The poster slots will be assigned in the first week of September.
EDUROAM is available on campus. In addition, there will be a guest network for students from non-European institutions.
Currently you can enter from EU without showing any certification. Please, consult Span Travel Health, the official website for up-to-date government information before your travel. Please, keep in mind, that in public transportation you are required to wear a mask.
